"La Adictiva Banda San José de Mesillas" is a Mexican musical group that was formed in 1990 in the town of San José de Mesillas, in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. The group consists of 16 members, including vocalists, percussionists, bassists, guitarists, brass and wind instrument players.
Some of the most recognized members of the group are Rama Martínez, lead vocalist and founder of the band, Guillermo Garza, trumpet player and musical arranger, and Carlos Sarabia, vocalist and composer of some of the group's most popular songs.
Throughout its career, "La Adictiva" has become one of the most popular and influential banda music groups in Mexico, winning several awards and recognition for its music, which combines the traditional banda music style with elements of pop, rock, and regional Mexican music. The group has released several albums, including "Durmiendo en el Lugar Equivocado," "En Peligro de Extinción," and "Nada Igual."
